Jeers to Disney/ABC for cancelling its colossally creative Legend of the Seeker series. From bloody battles with brutal banelings and gruesome gars, to sinister Sisters of the Dark there was action and adventure aplenty for stalwart and sexy Seeker Richard Cypher. LOTS' heroines Kahlan and Cara were strong role models for today's young women and showed that girls can be as good (if not better) than guys. Wizard Zeddicus (Bruce Spence) provided both comedy and a strong moral focus. And of course who could forget the show's devious, deviant, yet devastatingly handsome villian Darken Rahl (Craig Parker). Fans have raised money for advertisements in Variety, started a library campaign with author Terry Goodkind and are linking with Amazon.Com to raise funds but still no word from Disney. Please Anne Sweeney take the Sword of Truth out of its scabbard and let these faithful fans continue the legendary journeys.
